Meet Amanda

Amanda Stewart is a lifelong educator, author (Daisy for President), and advocate for students. A proud graduate of Charles County Public Schools, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, a Master’s in Education, Administration, and Supervision from Bowie State University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education from Walden University. She also holds Maryland Administrative I and II certifications and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Biology and Health Education.

With more than 25 years of experience in education, Amanda has dedicated her career to supporting both students and educators. She is the lead consultant for Stewart and Stewart Consulting, LLC, where she provides high-quality professional development focused on K–12 instructional strategies, data-driven decision-making, culturally responsive teaching, and building strong classroom culture and environments.

Amanda began her career teaching grades 6–12 and served in multiple teacher leadership roles, where she positively influenced both school improvement and student success. Today, her work continues to center on ensuring that educators have the tools, training, and support they need to help students thrive.

Alongside her husband, Amanda co-founded Reach One Touch One, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the community. Through this platform, she has expanded access to professional development opportunities for educators, grounded in her belief that students achieve the greatest success when teachers are fully prepared and supported. Amanda lives in Southern Maryland with her husband and son. 

 Daisy is a dreamer. One day she meets State Senator Marie Merritt. Thanks to Daisy's dreams and State Senator Marie Merritt, Daisy wants to be president one day. Any reader, adult or child, who has ever had a dream will connect with Daisy's desire to help others.
