Amanda Stewart graduated from Charles County Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a Master’s in Education, Administration, and Supervision from Bowie State University. Additionally, Amanda has earned the Maryland Administrative I and II certification and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Biology and Health Education.
With more than 20 years of education experience, Amanda is currently a doctoral student. Her research focus is higher education with a specialization in teacher education. In addition, Amanda is an Education Consultant and lead consultant for Stewart and Stewart Consulting, LLC. She provides educators with the highest-quality professional development training that focuses on K-12 instructional strategies, data-driven decisions, culturally responsive teaching, and classroom environment and culture (to name a few).
Amanda has enjoyed teaching grades 6th – 12th for many years. She has served in teacher leadership roles while positively impacting the organization/schools and the success of students and educators.
Amanda and her husband co-founded Reach One Touch One to give back to the community. Amanda has used this platform to allow educators to participate in professional development to be their best. Amanda believes that students can only achieve real academic success when their teachers are well-prepared.
Amanda lives in Southern Maryland with her husband and son.
